Blue Orchid is pleased to present the first regional food festival of Thai-Indian. The Thai-Indian cuisine is a fascinating example of cultural interlacing and with our award-winning chefs; we hope this food festival will be an experience you will not forget.
To experience a complete Thai-Indian special set menu £7.95 per person, starts at 7pm and finishes at 9pm on the 1st, 8th and 15th July 2007. Our chefs have put together a menu of authentic Eastern flavours with a focus on Indian and Thai. Staffing chefs who specialise in each region, they have created a menu that boasts creativity and authenticity among the high lights are Meen Mappas Tetal mix:- An exotic dish of Pan fried Chicken Tikka or Lamb Tikka in a spicy sauce with tamarind, mustard and curry leaves: - Gaeng Khiew is a Thai green curry, chicken, beef or lamb with coconut milk, aubergines and fresh herbs.
Enter over a quaint bridge splashed with fountains to find rooms dressed with traditional Thai-Indian foliage, enhanced with palms. The Blue Orchid is a non-smoking restaurant, which has smoking in the outside area.
